Definitely! I highly doubt that the old icon will be used in Scratch 3.0; it ruins the whole asthetic.

Actually it would. If you go to someone's profile who has never set an avatar, the image URL is default_60x60.png instead of being based on their user ID, so the ST could easily change it for all those accounts.

I think it should take an approach like Slack, where a random avatar is generated for each user. It would make the website a bit more interesting.

In my opinion that would increase server load a tad. Plus implementation would be kinda hard. At most just have a set of colored versions of these avatars.

Just looking at the dates of posts, this topic just seems to be long running. There are posts from many dates between 2013 and 2018, so from my understanding, this wouldn't be necro-posting. Anyway, the icon looks nice and the blue can be set to whatever the 3.0 blue is to make it look good with the rest of the website.

Support! This looks really good! I think with 3.0 coming up, it'll look even better! And anyway, the default logo right now looks awful. But that icon was actually designed by a Scratcher as well, but back in 1.4. (Bitmap Era)
