i'm making a DTA and i'm using fire alpaca on a mac, but i cant save the image and not have a back ground, can some one help me please?

Can you explain what you're talking about so I can help you better?

I'm on my dads mac, and i use fire alpaca, and i'm trying to only get the character out of it, and not the checkered background thing.

.mdp (FireAlpaca only file that preserves layers)

.psd (Photoshop file read by many drawing programs. Preserves layers)

.png (lossless file type that preserves transparency, please use this!)

.jpg (lossy file type that does not preserve transparency but is smaller than all the others)

.bmp (generally a huge lossless file type. No real reason to use them IMO)

Oh and, FYI, the checkered background means “transparent” so you can overlay it with stuff without a background.
