Why Do People Judge Other People Here To Much
What do you mean by, “if you were smart enough.”?Dark humor is a thing, if that's what you are wondering. Though, the use of medical conditions as insults have lost it's schtick since long, and most people who are still using them are mostly those who don't understand what the conditions are truly about. There are many clever insults that doesn't need to bring down an unrelated group to create offense, and you would know that if you were smart enough. I'm sure the user is trying to joke around, but it sure isn't funny. Be sure to report the comment(s). I'm sorry this was said to you, that must be quite upsetting. To be honest, I don't know.yes i do agree but why would someone joke about brain cancerSounds like a joke, but you aren't wrong. People hate others without good reason because it's “trendy” to hate people. today somebody commented on my profile saying “you have terminal 7” which means brain cancer and i think its because they thing im cringy (which i sorta am) but what she said made ma a little sad
It's not funny when someone jokes around about brain cancer, since it's a serious condition that people actually die from! Apparently it's some sort of, ‘trend’ like if something is cringy, people might say that the cringy thing gives you brain cancer (even though it doesn't.) I don't know why people joke around with this sort of stuff, it's not funny at all.
Yes, using medical conditions to joke others really upsets me, because the disease I have (type 1 diabetes) is joked around a lot and is usually mixed up with type 2 diabetes. So, in conclusion, I really do feel for the people that they have the medical condition, are joked of.

It was an attempt at a joke but I guess you didn't pick up on it. Doesn't matter anymore. What do you mean by, “if you were smart enough.”?
Like I said. It's no longer a strong or even logical insult as it's been overused and beaten to death by internet edgelords, and the best way to deal with them is to ignore them. This will kill their strive for strong reactions, which is usually the goal for attention seekers. Why Do People Judge Other People Here To Much
I'd say that, compared to some other places on the internet, the Scratch community as a whole is pretty supportive and welcoming.
Some people just say those types of things as jokes (I'll admit it: sometimes I do, when I'm among my friends), not intending to offend or hurt anybody. They don't know that the thing they just said could unwittingly bring someone's day down.
However, there are always some people who enjoy hating on others. They derive satisfaction from bringing other people down with them. Some people hate on others because they didn't realize it, or because their friends were, but there are others who simply do it because they can. A lot of the time, those people have problems in their own lives, like negligence or abuse, and they internalize the anger they feel and release it on innocent people, sometimes over the internet.
If you find hate on Scratch, the best thing to do is to report it. The Scratch Team will take care of it and settle everything.
