Also, it would be abused in so many ways.

I support this as it is interesting to know when people quote you. However there should be a toggle. *Looks at jvvg and their summary of rejected suggestions.*

This is kinda a necropost since it's rejected (see Cheddargirl's post), but I wanted to say something. The biggest part of no-support has the reason “this could be easily spammed”.
Yes. It's easily spammable. But comments are spammable too. So I'm making a suggestion to remove comments.

Sorry, this has been rejected. As it has been mentioned early on in the thread, we cannot add this suggestion simply because of the way that the forums work. The large potential for spam could also be more trouble than this suggestion is worth.
