Motion Control/Detection Support

Hi! I was wondering if scratch could have it's own motion detecting system. by this I mean detecting the orientation of the device if it has one. when scratch supports mobile devices I would love to make some VR games for scratch! I want to have this because of multiple reasons:
-Virtual Reality Games
-games that may need a shake fuction
-ways to bring to life games
you can add onto this list if you want this idea
