Why do you have to follow some people in order to invite them to studios???

I know this is not that big of a question, but every once in a while I find my self having to follow someone in order to invite someone to the studio. Is this because they didn't accept the email that Scratch sent them or what?

You don't have to follow anyone. They just will only show up as a selectable option (as opposed to searching their name) if you follow them/are being followed by them.

Yeah. Whenever it says that I can't invite this person, then if I follow them it will let me invite them.

You can invite people to studios without following them in the curater section of a studio there is a place where you can enter the link of their profile to invite them.

I already know that you can invite people without following them. Sometimes it says I don't have permission to invite them, but if I follow that person it lets me invite them.

You don't have permission to invite them if:
1. They are already are a curator
2. They have been invited
3. They have not confirmed their email address

You don't have to follow them to be able to invite them to the studio. The only way that a non-curator can't be invited is if they haven't confirmed their email, in which case I think they can't be invited no matter what.

If this is truly the case (I suspect its simply a coincidence), then something is wrong, that's not supposed to happen.

Hm, that's odd! Usually someone can't invite someone due to their email not being confirmed.

Guys, try and invite someon who does not have a confirmed email, then follow them and try again. You will know what I am talking about then.
