Allow me to attempt to justify myself.

1) to not accept the vote is almost to condone the creation of new communication methods, something clearly against Scratch Rules. If I allow DS2S to do such a thing, then Scratch is not the kind of place I want to do a thing like this. However, a) Scratch allows us to somewhat safely produce a Pokémon game, and b) If I can't do it on Scratch then this collab cannot continue, I'd have to pursue it somewhere else, if at all. Therefore, I cannot allow the collab to continue if we do not have a clear avoidance of this in the future, but instead allow the problem to continue.

2) If I were to leave this project, I would probably also leave Scratch in general. Nothing would prevent the rest of DS2S from creating a new game, and I would not object to the creation of another Pokémon Collab also called Pokémon Chaotic Flame and Orderly Frost; I wouldn't be around to defend the title as my own.

3) Future repealing of this rule is possible, should new evidence come up, or DS2S members feel strongly that the rule should not be added.

4) This isn't how I will run these votes in the future. There were unique circumstances here, a Scratch rule that our ignorance of has caused more issues than just this one.

I understand if this doesn't change your opinion. I should have handled that better, and I apologize for using this alternative.

I neither condone nor deny external comms methods. I say we should see exactly how far rules extend without breaking them and then move from there.
