Picoboard support on scratch 3.0

So I was messing around with the scratch 3.0 GUI and discovered the extensions tab, where you can add support for LEGO WeDo, LEGO boost, speech, video sensing, pen, and music. But I also noticed the picoboard was noticeably absent from that list. I was wondering if anyone knows whether or not picoboard will be supported when scratch 3.0 officially releases, or be replaced by something else?

No. The Scratch 3.0 page on the Scratch Wiki says it will not be supported.

I have noticed this too… so, what's gonna happen to PicoBoard? Will it work in Scratch 3?
Oh, and also not to mention, LEGO WeDo 1.0 (if there is a 1.0) also isn't showing up, instead, it's 2.0. I hope I described that clearly.
While I don't see those hardware extensions, new ones were micro:bit and LEGO MINDSTORMS EV3.
