I’m Not Sure How to Title This, But I Know a Fix for the Automatic Credit

(Ugh ignore the bad title, I wasn’t sure how to sum up this suggestion)

So, I told Paddle2See this idea, and he liked it (not linking to the comment since at one part I mentioned another user, and I don’t want to name and shame, but I could screenshot the comment) so before rejecting, consider this

Anyway, my idea, is this:

So, a lot of people don’t like the automatic credit. People are mad that their hard work is remixed and nobody credits them, and they can get away with it. Also, it doesn’t help people for their future, since in the future, you HAVE to credit people in an essay or something, but here, it’s done automatically. So, I came up with an idea on how to fix this.

Automatic credit ONLY exists for New Scratchers. This way, the users can understand remixing, and not have to worry about crediting. Then, once being promoted, they have to do credit themselves. I think once promoted, the ‘you can be a Scratcher now!’ message will also state about that they now have to do credit themselves.

I think in their old remixed projects the automatic credit will still be there, so they don’t have to go back and edit all their own projects.

I know I didn’t explain this right. I might ask Paddle2See to explain how it would be beneficial

The “You are invited to become a Scratcher” message already states “We give credit when we remix.”
What's wrong with the automatic credit? I rather like it, because then people can't remix and say, “Yo this is mineee”.

I like this idea, though I can still see people just not giving credit

People can't say that if it's a remix anyway

There actually is:

1- People need to know how to give credit. As an adult, they have to give credit themselves, so they should learn this when younger

2- Some people may be offended if they don’t have proper credit

3- Some people don’t write anything there, and it just says ‘none’. I find it just saying ‘none’ kind of rude

At first I was fine with it, but now it seems like any user can just not change anything, press remix, write None in the credits, and say it's okay

Here's an idea for this: When you are a New Scratcher it says something like “Uh-oh! It seems you didn't credit the original creator. Remember, it is against the community guidelines to not credit people.” Then, New Scratchers can learn. After becoming a Scratcher, this message does not appear.
EDIT: A know a good title.

I rather like the idea of giving Scratchers more responsibility as they become more familiar with the site. As you progress on Scratch, I feel that there should be some growth. However, it the training wasn't done correctly, we would wind up with a lot more work for our moderation team, dealing with improper credit. That's a big concern for me.
