What you should avoid posting in the suggestions forums
If I could throw my two cents in then I think he's trying to say that you shouldn't… I don't know how to put it exactly… complain? about not being stickied, and keep it to yourself, I'm not very sure, sorry this isn't my convo to intrude on.????That's not something to post on the suggestions forum, Charles. Leave that for your status or private thoughts.Meanwhile, the other guides I have seen include mine still have not been stickied… I'm going to report this to be stickied, it's very helpful(for users new to the suggestions forums).

I like how this post targets specific types of poor topic posting, but keep in mind:
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/156550/ - Covers 3 and 4
https://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/215499/ - Covers 4 and delves all around
I also don't see why you couldn't have suggested to add these to the current stickies.
While I get the whole ‘honor of getting stickied’ thing, it's best not to get that place crammed, and a lot of this stuff can easily be suggested there.
So for the sake of redundancy, it's best to try and suggest these, and if the owners aren't active this may serve more purpose than before.

This is different from the other stickies, I don't think asking one of the creators “Hey, add all this stuff to your sticky” would make anything better, and it would just make confusion because it wouldn't fit in with their sticky. I read the stickies, I didn't see anything like this in I like how this post targets specific types of poor topic posting, but keep in mind:any of them, which is why I made this topic. Do you think I'm one of those people who's ignorant about everything?

It seems a lot like Sigtons sticky, and I think we have enough stickies for this board. No support.

How so? You can easily just add it to a current sticky by asking. A majority of the topics you've listed appear in other posts and stickies, so in my opinion, this shouldn't be stickied. This is different from the other stickies, I don't think asking one of the creators “Hey, add all this stuff to your sticky” would make anything better, and it would just make confusion because it wouldn't fit in with their sticky. Also I'm tired of people saying that I tried to duplicate Sigton's post.
I've already edited this multiple times so that stuff included in his post wasn't included in his post.
I don't really want this to be stickied since we already have a lot of stickies in this forum, I would just like people to view this guide every once in a while so they know what not to post.

Ah, I was about to comment on how it wasn't necessary to turn this into a sticky since frankly, there's more than enough on this board. However, this topic isn't necessary either. Couldn't you talk to Sigton and collaborate on ways to make his stickied guide better? That's why this topic isn't needed, because we have another similar guide at the top of the page that won't ever move down so more people can look at it. It's a bit more tedious to have two separate topics with the same theme. Talk with Sigton and tell him to put the new stuff you have on here onto his post, and then voila! His sticky is better thanks to you! Then you can close this afterwards. And whenever you have new ideas to share, you can always chat with Sigton again and ask him to add your new pieces of info to his stickied guide. Also I'm tired of people saying that I tried to duplicate Sigton's post.

Please take this person's advice. I also don't see why you couldn't have suggested to add these to the current stickies.

I don't see how the stuff I put in here would fit in Sigton's post. His post is about How to reply to and make suggestions and mine is about what you shouldn't post.

We never said you were trying to duplicate his post. Not once. We were just pointing out that this topic isn't very necessary, as it's points have been covered before. You said no support.
