How can I copy a list (including its content) to another project?

I'm just curious as to how other people do it, because if I backpack a sprite containing a list with a lot of content into a blank project, the list becomes empty.

Right-click on the list in editor mode and click on Export. You can import the list through right-clicking on a list in the other project and clicking on Import.

Also see here: https://wiki.scratch.mit.edu/wiki/Exporting_and_Importing

Do you mean click on File on the top-right corner and download the project then import it into another project? I didn't mean port, I meant copy.

No, that's what I ment:
  • Open the first project.
  • Right-click on the list you want to import to the new project.
  • Click on “Export”.
  • Export the list as a text file.
  • Open the new project.
  • Right-click on any list.
  • Click on “Import”.
  • Import the text file you've downloaded before.

I hope it helps.

Sorry, I was just right-clicking the
(list :: list)
block, not the actual grey thing.
