I don't see any code to reduce the cloud-players variable. Even if you have something so that when someone stops the project they reduce the variable it won't work if they lose their connection or just close the browser window. So player slots need more management than that.

You're also not sharing any data that would makes any difference to the other players but perhaps this is still a work in progress.
