How do I make a good project?
Mainly put effort into it.
Spend time working on it, not just rush to make a project in 10 minutes. Try to make the graphics look good (vector is a good starting point) so more people find it more visually attractive. If it's a game, try to make it fun (good controls are important) - there are a lot of sites you can look at about what makes games fun. And make sure any bugs are fixed.

First of all get an idea for a project. Then put in everything you can into making the idea a reality. Try to improve your drawing skills, or order from a shop if you think you need to improve your art. Ask in the help with scripts form if you need help scripting something. Whatever you do don't give up until you come up with something your satisfied with.

Thumbnails are great. Here is a tutorial I did for one of my studios, but it also has a part about how to do a thumbnail and why you should do one. Also, making your own or having someone else do personalised art for your project is a great way to get noticed. I get bored looking at projects that just uses stuff from scratch's pre-made library. Also, make sure the coding runs well. If you have any coding questions, give me a shout. I'll see what I can do for you. I could also do background art for you if you need it. Here is some background art samples that I threw together for someone else. And also, have a unique idea. Many people do platformers, for example. If you want to do one, fine, but do something out of the ordinary with it to make it noticeable and rememberable.

To make a good project, make bad projects, learn from the bad projects and you have a good project.
You're welcome.

How do I make a good project?
Okay, well, good projects are usually made in vector.
1. Find an Idea.
Go! Find an idea from Neverending Dreams (in Requests). I do not work there, but it's amazing. I love it.
2. Don't go for ordinary
Go to Google Drawings and get other fonts! Make your game have a twist- does the character sing PPAP when you complete a level?
3. Stuck?
If you've ever wondered, “Man, how do I…” ask. I'm sure users in Help with Scripts and Questions About Scratch will be happy to help.
4. Get a review.
Reviews are the best! They can help find glitches and help you improve on things. You'll find shops that sell reviews (such as the TS Shoppe) for free under Requests in the forums.

Think up a good idea, and put lots of effort into making that idea into a reality. Strive to make the project run smoothly and lag-lessly, and draw quality graphics. (Vector graphics look a lot smoother, but bitmap graphics are great for pixel art. And there's always the option of 100% pen.)
