My browser / operating system: MacOS Macintosh X 10.12.6, Chrome 60.0.3112.113, Flash 27.0 (release 0)
Sometimes the buttons disappear for a while, this isn't a huge issue, I would just like to know why it is happening.

This happens to me too, but I think it happens because of these following reasons:

#1:
The the code in Scratch(or the Scratch Team) doesn't want Scratch to crash because of too many Scratchers logging into their accounts.

#2:
A glitch in the code running Scratch.

#3:
Other reasons….

Other than that, that's all I have to say.
