Loud and Distorted Audio

This question might sound dumb, but is it okay if I put loud and distorted audio (like this) in a project? Some people have sensitive ears, so I'm not sure if it is okay or not. I'm pretty sure it might just get NFE'd, but I want to stay on the safe side for now.

It'd definitely get NFE'd, and you should put “headphone users beware” in instructions, but it'd probably be fine.

And all the world over, each nation's the same,
They've simply no notion of playing the game.
They argue with umpires, they cheer when they've won,
And they practice beforehand, which ruins the fun!

It would most likely be NFE'd you should put in the project a sound warning for all the people (including me) that have sensitive ears.

While you probably should put a notice I don't see anything wrong with the distorted audio you linked to, and I'm wearing headphones. I don't see how a song like the one you linked will get NFEed for being in a project. You should probably put an option to change the volume of the music in the project though.

I would greatly appreciate if you were to check of this game I spent months that includes plot and bosses here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/97452006/ ………………………………………Want a detailed review or idea?

Can't you just change the volume of the actual PC/Device though?

Yes. It's impossible to be “too loud” because the Scratch sounds are limited both in the sound editor and in the initial conversion process. Look at he sound's waveform. Once it touches the top and bottom edges of the sound editor window, making it “louder” only distorts it instead.

I just imported the sound to the editor. The sound is the same as it sounded before.

Why would it change? When I say “too loud” I mean so loud it blows a speaker or something. Scratch will not let you get that loud.

It's okay if you put loud sounds in a project, but keep in mind to put a warning in the description. Some people may not like loud noises or may even have adverse or violent reactions to really loud sounds, and I absolutely DESPISE loud noises designed specifically to hurt someone's ears for that reason. Loud noises can also cause deafness in some cases if they are prolonged or done repeatedly.
Keep in mind to put a warning, and try to avoid having the loud noises at high volume for a long time or doing this constantly.

I think it's sad that they have to do that, but it does make sense. Loud and distorted audio can cause you to go deaf and have a painful effect on the ears. This gives a push back for meme makers on Scratch. They can make memes on YT, though. It's better there than here.

On some occasions, we have marked projects with extremely loud audio as NFE. This way we may be able to have less people hurt their ears.
