A not so long time ago in this galaxy, a user named BGMead had an idea. What if I could make a Pokémon game? So BGMead and -lightflare- started a collab. Our mission is to create the first fully functional Pokemon game. So far, we have a working battle engine, and world editing. But recently, BGMead left Scratch to work on other projects and work with other languages. Now, we need users like YOU to help us achieve our goal.

What is Pokemon Scratch Block?

This collaboration is about making a new Pokémon game based on HeartGold and SoulSilver. We will have a complicated storyline, exciting cutscenes, and dialogue that pushes the story forward.

Update Log

v1.9: This update added bug fixes and a new Bag HUD. If you'd like to make an update, tell me first and remix the project. Please only remix if it's your turn to make an update. Bug Squishers, remix the newest project at any time.

Bug Squishers:
When the Beta Testers identify bugs, it's the Bug Squishers' job to remove bugs from the project

Current Story

Option 1:
Everything seems like a normal game to begin with, but then you beat some decent part of the bad guy's organisation, and next thing you know a small group of the bad guys come up to you and ask you to join a rebellion against the current leader/s of the bad guys. Then, later in the game you take over the whole thing with that original group's help and overthrow and become the leader of the newly reformed bad guy corporation/thingy.You also get to choose if you'll end up taking ownership of the company or just taking it down alone.

Option 2:
A young teen's life is changed forever when he moves to the Kamiro Region where the population is rebelling against a cruel ruler. The teen is taken as the leader of the rebellion and is caught in a struggle for supremacy. The teen must decide the fate of Kamiro, the fate of the rebellion- and the fate of himself.

Option 3:
Long after the mess with the Ultimate Weapon, Team Pyro rises from the ashes of Team Flare, led by a mysterious figure, and Admins Xerosic and Malva. Their mission is to restore the earth to its former glory, even if it means wiping it completely. Depending on your version, an ancient Pokemon will be revived from its slumber, and begin its process of wiping the Earth clean. The hero must battle or catch it, and prevent the earth from being wiped.

After the game is complete, many new areas are unlocked, such as Terminus cave where you can catch Zygarde.Story Writers, please give suggestions for improvement.

Skill Level: Hmm, 3.14 / 5 maybe? *sniggers immaturely like the maths nerd I am*. I'm not sure, I'm a decent programmer (I think) and I love thinking of stories and playing pokemon!
Time on Scratch: 1 year and seven months (as on my profile). Scratch was my first programming language (or maybe just encounter, is Scratch even a language?) so that's also as long as I've been coding, though I have expanded my knowledge of different languages a little since then.
Job Wanted: Well, I'll end up testing any betas you release anyway, and I wouldn't mind fixing bugs. But really, I'd love to code, and do storyline, and spriting would be fun… and the wiki's quite cool… ARRGHH! I can't do everything, but I'd definitely love to do it all… umm…

Also, you could look at the simple storyline on my unfinished project, Sublimate, or I could make something up like this:

“He glared firmly at his opponents ahead, the cold wind from the Ice-type gym freezing his cheeks and tussling his hair. The threat of the final Gym Leader was still fresh in his mind, but for now his focus lay on the 10 Team Flare Grunts knowingly standing in his path. He was not afraid. He knew there was danger to be found in taking on 10 trainers at once, but he'd just saved the world from Team Flare and the legendary fire pokemon they had been abusing, so what was there for him to be afraid of?”

I'd like to comment now that I'm not always that active on Scratch, so I might not be able to put too much time into this, but I'm here to help when I can. Also, sorry for wasting your time with a long post, I'm also very good at talking seemingly pointlessly for long periods of time, as you can probably tell…
