is the phrase 'what the hell' okay?

just wondering, since a song I am using in a project has that phrase in it.

I know hell is allowed due to religious purposes, but in this context would it count as a swear? If so, I can easily delete the word, just wondering

I have moved to m1mikyu, please comment there if you need assistance!

It is not allowed, as for being a swear. I am not allowed to say and it and it is not okay for 8 year olds.

Well, that's your family. Other families do not want their kids(s) to hear that word (except for religious purposes).

I don't know. It's a little borderline, so possibly “okay” but a bit on the edge.
If you use it in a project, it's most likely to be NFE.

To me I wouldn't even think to consider it a swear. However there are people who live in different places and were raised by people with different beliefs that would get offended.

Witty signature.

I am not sure. I really don't care that much, but I know some other people do.

NO
Your project would probably be reported in an hour.

Hi, and Welcome to my signature! It doesn't change that often, but, hey, might be intresting to read; you never know (or at least not until you read it.) If you've got this far, it's pretty obvious that you're reading this to see just how intresting it is. Yes, you're reading this to see if there's a bonus bit at the end. You have to satisfy your natural curiosity and see how it turns out. Well, I dare you to stop…
You couldn't do it, could you? Sorry, you lost! Bye now!

This would probably get marked NFE however it should be okay. It also depends on the tone, someone shouting it would be more suggestive than someone signing it.

I would greatly appreciate if you were to check of this game I spent months that includes plot and bosses here https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/97452006/ ………………………………………Want a detailed review or idea?

I'm a major fan of Pokemon, Undertale and the Pija and Toast series.

the song is ‘ECHO’ by Gumi. maybe search it up to see what I mean??
its just that cutting out the entire phrase would ruin the entire timing of my project…

Maybe just cut it out and replace the sound with silence taking up that timing? Maybe split the song into two parts, one before that and one after, and then make it play the first part, then play the blanked out part, and then the final part through broadcasting?

i don't know, there is already a lot of coding in it and that might be hard

You can just separate the code into a couple broadcasts, that's all. Duplicate the song, and cut out the “what the ___” part from the song and everything after it in the first sound. Then, in the next, cut out everything from “what the ___” and before that, and you'll have two sound files. Then, split it into broadcasts and it should work. If you're afraid of messing up the project, you can always save it as a copy first and then edit the copied version until you get it right (or not), and then backpack and move everything to the original.

I know the song & it's probably ok, since with Gumi's voice you can't really recognize the words.

It should be okay. The phrase sounds like part of the song. I remember I saw a project with the song before and they had the lyrics in the description and as far as I know it wasn't taken down. However I'm not sure if they cut the phrase out or not but I feel that burning their house down is more suggestive than the word hell and I remember reading the burning my house down multiple times in the description.

that part isn't in the meme just the part at the beginning

also, I believe by ‘burning my house down’ it was some type of metaphor. still haven't figured it out, though

My answers is if you question it, it is best not to put it in your project.
