A Place to Learn Java?
I am wanting to start learning Java sometime soon, but I am unsure where to start. Are there any good sites/books you know of?
Many thanks!

Scratch is actually a great place to program if you are learning JavaScript.
I have a Steam account. If you have one too, feel free to add me to your friends list.
Also check out my YouTube channel if you like the outdoors, Minecraft, cars, roller coasters, etc.

For Java, I used tutorials by thenewboston on YouTube. He has a website where you can find his Beginner Java, Intermediate Java, and SO much more. You could start there. After I finished his tutorials, I tried making programs and looked up anything I needed to know.

Have you looked at programming with Processing at all? It's Java-based, and you can learn a lot of Java through it, but it's very much easier to get started than raw Java, especially with the sorts of things people tend to do in Scratch.

You can also look at the Java Trails, which are pretty good. I learned Java from there by flicking through the tutorials. Java's syntax is pretty easy anyway.
I do, in fact, have my own site; it's here.
I'm also working on a thing called Fetch. Look at it here!

As of now, I'm learning JavaScript from Codeacamedy. They also teach other languages, html, JQuery, Python, etc.
