That's kinda irrelevant
It isn't irrelevant at all. You basically just called an entire section of the forums irrelevant. You might as well call the entire forum irrelevant with that statement.

can we stop talking about this please!?
Why don't you just let everyone share their opinions without being discouraged. This ENTIRE anti-#Bring_It_Back post will get no one anywhere. All that you're doing is making more arguments that have no solution. You're probably going to say something like, “I shouldn't have my anti-#Bring_It_Back opinion discouraged as well,” which is absolutely correct, but discouraging RELEVANT posts is going against the meaning of the entire Scratch Forums.

1. I said in my OP that I am not against anyone who supports #Bring_It_Back

I wrote:

Note: I am not against anyone who supports #Bring_it_Back, only #Bring_it_Back itself.

2. I was talking about shop owners because it's off-topic and I don't want to get off-topic

1. I think the Discuss button heat should have died down by now.

2. People are basically whining for something that's not going to happen.

3. Still, if the discuss button being gone leads to Scratchers hating the ST, thats not okey.

4. The discuss button was removed because “Discuss” might be longer in other languages, for example, Discuss is Diskutieren in German. (according to Google Translate) Logical enough for you?

5. There is a big fat link to the forums in the Scratch Welcoming Committee!! And plus, a Scratchers first project is probably something basic that would take 5 minutes to program.
1. But it hasn't.

2. That's not grounds for censorship

3. Why should a group be judged for what a tiny minority do wrong? (Same sort of logic that led to Trump's travel bans.)

4. Did you read b)? There are many suggestions that avoid the formatting problem, but keep the button.

5. Beyond first projects?

1. I know,

2. I changed the title to “Discourage” instead of ban.

3. I'm afraid other Scratchers will hate the ST just because of a random button being removed. (also don't compare me to Trump stuff, we don't need to bring up politics,)

4.

1. So, clearly, it is still an important issue that people want to talk about

2. It's not grounds for discouragement either

3. Your logic is the same. To stop some members of a particular group doing bad things, you block the whole group.

4. Why can't one of the solutions be implemented until they find a new way?

5. When users move beyond first projects and come across problems they can't solve, where do they go?

I think some discouragement would be finely reasonable. Of course I'm talking about people complaining about the discuss button, which is what this topic is about anyways. I don't believe discouragement would be necessary opinion wise… which (from my point) it seems like you two are discussing, correct?

Quoting “The ST already said it won't come back” -

That's the whole point of protesting? amirite?

Most of the complaints are about New Scratchers who have never heard about it finding it. It took a while for me to find the forums at first until I started clicking on the header. I never even checked the footer of the website until seven months ago (way after I joined) so of course it'll be even more difficult to find the forums for new users.
Exactly.

Sorry, I still support Bring_It_Back, even though they aren't going to bring it back. For now, let's let everyone know of the power of extensions.

Not to shop owners
:O are you calling shop owners irrelevant?
/s

Anyway, no support. People are allowed to express their own opinions - after all, isn't the original post your own opinion on #Bring_it_Back?

I'm gonna close this topic because all people are talking about is shop owners, (which is off topic by the way.)
