Ok, how about there is an earthquake, and Earth's friends are trapped in there.

How about this:
One day, the solar system explodes, leaving Earth and the other planets separated from each other. Earth has to find all the planets and let them be free once again. On the way, he finds planets that he has to go through to get the planets, because the planets are being held hostage there. The planets have greenhouse gases that are very bad for Earth, so Earth has to avoid them on the way.
That sounds like a pretty good story.

Earth could have to save all the other planets from a black hole that has opened up at the edge of the solar system. All the planets will be sucked in unless earth destroys the black hole by plugging it up
