Bump?

I've recently seen multiple posts with sections that say, “Bump”. What does this mean?

Bump?

It's a way to bring your post back up to the first page after a while of inactivity. It also stands for “bring up my post”.

Ah. It is pretty necessary in the suggestions forum, and since I'm most active on the QAS forum and Suggestions forum, it can be semi important for me.

It's necessary in Requests and Show and Tell. Those are probably the most active sections of the forums.
