Ew. Time to upgrade really if you want the best recorders.

I use Action! It comes with a 30 day trial, and out of all the recorders I've used (Bandicam, Fraps, Camstudio) it's the best for recording games.

I say upgrade because nowadays most recorders require Aero to run efficiently.

I also have a Windows 7.

I suggest Fraps and Apowersoft.

I think fraps has a trial version with 15 minutes max each video. Still you can just layer videos atop one another.

I think it's 10 seconds?

Apowersoft has a free version. I think it can record up to an hour, but for more features get the pro version.

YES I know a good Screen Recorder better than screencast o matic or free Version of bandicam and lots more free Recorders. I have a Software calle:
Open Brodcaster Software. It has NO lag, NO logo on the Screen, NO limited recording time and ist FREE. check it out on YouTube and download it if you want a legal free Recorder which is good.
