Constructive Recommendations On How to Respond to and Make Suggestions!
Well…You don't find a solution by constantly begging/whining for one.Well if there are problems in the forums, Alright this needs to be added. Too many people are doing this and it's really hypocritical.which there are, then people should complain until either a compromise can be reached or the issue is solved.Stop complaining about the forums.
You aren't solving a problem by complaining about it.
If you point out the flaws no one will look to a positive view.
The purpose is to change the forums, not explain and repeat what has been stated in the past.
If you feel the need to make problems rather than solve them, the forums is not the place.

Anyway, this doesn't make much sense, considering you're complaining that others are complaining.
I mean, look at the topic that you want this to be put in, even if it isn't a complaint.

Trust, but verify ⅼ There is a madness to my method ⅼ Always outnumbered, never outclassed ⅼ They said I couldn't, so I did ⅼ I didn't lie, I circumnavigated the truth ⅼ Determination is the wake up call to the human will ⅼ I don't want to hurt you. And you know that I can ⅼ People can change - there is reason for hope ⅼ True friends stab you in the front ⅼ No I'm not ‘giving up’ I'm just too classy to fight an idiot like you

That's the difference. No point in discrediting something like our government and then not posing a solution.

Welp, I did suggest a solution on my thread, and it was that people should stop treating others badly by acting superior.Yes, I did complain, but I found a solution and am trying to put it in place.Alright this needs to be added. Also, it seems that you've decided to change your stance about this here.
If you're going to change your opinion, the least you could do is not to be fairly mean simply to explain it. Your arguments are fantastic most of the time, but not being nice about it can offend people and make them feel bad.

My bad on inconsistency then; and my bad for being mean. I just don't find myself being mean; the whole part of this community is it's difficult to make an argument because kids don't realize debate is directed at argument, not at them on a personal level.Welp, I did suggest a solution on my thread, and it was that people should stop treating others badly by acting superior.Yes, I did complain, but I found a solution and am trying to put it in place.Alright this needs to be added. I support this forum…
Wait! But that's breaking the point of the forum! (XD did I get away with that????)
This sticky is useful because it asks for thought to be put into posts. Great job and congrats on the sticky, Sigton.

You can't bump this. It's a sticky. Bumping this topic. There used to be a lot of conversation here, but I guess that went away.
I used to be active on the forums, but I have mostly moved past Scratch. I still do check my Scratch messages, so if you'd like to talk to me, just leave a comment on my profile. My main project on Scratch was Cookie Clicker, but my newest project is Snake Snake, a game based off of Snake, but with two snakes, and you can play either singleplayer or multiplayer.

Its kinda been a sticky for… uh like since page 4?By bumping I meant like possibly trying to start another conversation, but I noticed that! Late congratulations! You can't bump this. It's a sticky. Bumping this topic. There used to be a lot of conversation here, but I guess that went away.
Really late; no conversation is fine and usually means stuff is sound.
I don't see anything wrong or a need to “bump”

Great! This helps a lot! Even though I don't do this stuff it helps it be recognizable! One thing I think you could add…
This is what I think should be added to give further understanding of the suggestions forum. Thanks for reading and considering!
Another Suggestion
Think about how you make your post and take into consideration the professionalism, effort, outcome, and possibility of it. First we have to take into consideration the effort and outcome of the suggestion. First, you must think, ‘Can the Scratch Team do it? Would it be to much work?’ And if you really want to help ask yourself, ‘How will they do it?’ And explain how to prove its not too complicated. Also, think about what the outcome would be, would people use it? Would people use it well? Would it quickly lose popularity and end up not doing anything? Would it make Scracth too hard? Would it make Scratch to easy? If you're making a suggestion, you must explain how it's done. A project would help, or the Scratchblocks tool. If the Scratch Team can't understand what you're saying, or can't understand how it should be done, the post was useless! Don't make topics like this: I think the Scratch Team should do ____. Make them like this: I think the Scratch Team should do ____, because ____. They would do this by ____. Make it professional, so the Scratch Team actually takes into consider your recommendation. You need to make it sound like you care!

Maybe I'm wrong, but your suggestion compiles all of this topic into a paragraph Great! This helps a lot! Even though I don't do this stuff it helps it be recognizable! One thing I think you could add…Another Suggestion

I think in the end this worked out. We have better suggestions and people have finally stopped mini modding because of this sticky. Keep it up Scratch.

I have seen many posts that mention an example about the sixth suggestion you made.
I still can't believe this..
I even explained to one person that Scratch is about creativity and not about challenges when he said, “You don't just expect New Scratchers to get the blocks they want.”
This isn't learning.
Anyways, this thread would really help us if anyone is posting stuff like what I mentioned above. My example is the one that annoys me the most.

This is a great guide! I might not have read the whole thing thoroughly (but I tried), so I'm wondering if you can add something like this if you haven't already (but definitely go ahead and change/add stuff to this if you want):
It's fine if you don't like the idea of a post that has mostly (or all) support, or the other way around, if you like a suggestion that has no (or little) support. You don't need to let other users influence you solely, but if they're making really good points, it's okay to be turned to the other side. Just don't be showy, like “I'm the first supporter/non-supporter”, as it's pretty rude.
