to be honest, i'd rather we not, as there's already a whole thread with 1k+ posts on it stating reasons why it should(n't) be brought back. i was thinking something more like a medieval fiction, like a kingdom engulfed in civil war or something. omg, the idea of a civil war would actually bring up some amazing plot points, like maybe the main char's brother could be part of the rebel faction and he's not or the other way around.

Character Ideas:

King Henry Grethel III, a noble Knight and King of The Land. A brave warrior who would do anything to protect his country.

(insert name here) Grethel, King Grethel's brother. Has been recruited by the Opposers of King Henry III, and wants to overthrow him due to the way he was treated by their parents. Henry II, their father and previous King, only cared for his heir, Prince Henry. (Insert name here) was cast aside, unwanted by their family.

Medieval Kingdom: Expanded (Suggestions by Drunken_Sailor)

Character Ideas:

King Henry Grethel III, a noble Knight and King of The Land. A brave warrior who would do anything to protect his country, albeit somewhat vain due to his upbringing.

Robert Grethel, King Grethel's brother. Has been recruited by the Opposers of King Henry III, and wants to overthrow him due to the way he was treated by their parents. Henry II, their father and previous King, only cared for his heir, Prince Henry, and raised him in the palace, whilst Robert was cast aside, unwanted by their family and sent to a monastery to be raised.

A group of former colonists want to overthrow king Henry because of a recent treaty made with the Gallicans which gave their land over to the Gallicans abd deported the colonists from the former colonies. In league with a rebel group of Gallicans with similar goals.

John Merrybank, the King's faithful Spymaster for years on end,
though due to recent developments has become secretly unloyal and is ferrying information to the rebel faction.

And enters our main character…
Richard Livingston, a loyal soldier in the King's army. Was born in the colonies but received his education in the capital, where he became a soldier.

John Livingston, younger brother to Richard and military officer in the rebel military. Was born and raised in the colonies and didn't enjoy the luxurious life of his brother, was abused by his mother, who had been a hopeless drunkard ever since John's father died of malaria shortly after Rick left. He has grown to hate the Kingdom and everything it stands for.
