Because of the server overload, (limits to saving and access to website and slow-getting-around) I suggest that there be another Scratch website. It could be an alternate website or for advanced/expert Scratchers (I recommend just another Scratch website and not of the two choices given in this line of text), but it could be used for better uses. I'm not an expert about creating a website like this, so it might be to difficult or expensive or something, but I highly suggest another website be created. It should be just a duplicate of this website, except since it can't be the exact same name, the name could be slightly, unsignificantly, unnoticably changed.
An idea(s) for a URL is:
scretch.mit.edu
scratch2.mit.edu
altscratch.mit.edu
Something like that.

To take care of the server overloads, all we'd need is more servers / ram.
As for an alternate scratch site, I don't support. I personally wouldn't want the scratch community to be cut in half

1) Another scratch website would not help anything. If you put another website on the same server, it will become slightly worse. Once you get more servers anyway, you might as well keep it on one site.
2) Seperating experienced scratchers would mean that they can't be around on the site to help those who don't know as well.

There already is another scratch site…of a sort. Modshare is for scratch projects made with mods but it allows you to add projects made with scratch. I do not have very much experience with it but you should check it out; if you're interested: modshare.futuresight.org
