(Please tell me if this is a duplicate.)

I think the line that separates signatures from the forum posts should be more noticeable. (For example, make it a little darker) It doesn't need to be really dark or big or anything, but just a little more noticeable because I'm a little annoyed by New Scratchers asking why a user is talking about themselves/some random topic/posting random images for no reason, when it's really just part of their signature. It's not just new/inexperienced Scratchers, it's a lot of Scratchers that might think the same thing for a second too.. including me sometimes.

Edit: As some users have suggested, I think that a thing telling the user about what a signature is and how to make one would be useful as well.

Semi-Support. I've seen this happen a few times, but not enough to where it's tedious.

Yeah, I guess. Just making it a slightly darker grey would be good.

Support! Maybe there could be a circle button that says “i” next to each signature that reads, when you hover over it:
This is an automatic signature put at the bottom of all of this user's posts. You can create your own signature at the bottom of the discussion home!

Signatures should also have their own report button.

Support, I have seen this happen far too often, and when I first got onto the forums, I reported a few posts thinking that they were advertising when it was just their signature.

Especially with a signature as noticeable as mine.

Great idea!
I kinda like the idea of it being really close to the line

Oops.
I've seen Scratchers asking things like “How'd you put that image there?” when it was just part of their signature..

I guess that makes sense too.

We should also extend the signature size. I tried to make my signature with many types of code blocks, but not all of them were shown, even when I post something. I ended up with this:

That's a good idea. But a better solution is this.

Support, one day I accidentally zoomed out, and every so often a siggie line just went invisible, so I ended up reporting someone for emoji spam because their entire siggie was just emojis

Support, I tried to give an example of what it could look like, but it didn't really work out

Support! Hey, why not? It would help New Scratchers understand it. Would be a great addition to signature!

I admit I laughed when I saw you post, ‘Just make it a little darker or something, it’s just hilarious how little your suggesting, but how much it will help!:P:lol:

On mobile it's pretty hard to see the line, and the only real way to tell whether or not it's a signature is by looking at the size of the text, signatures have smaller text on mobile.
(even then it looks a lot like the small text)

I support this idea.

You could also make the line more noticeable is by making it extend to the other side of the post.

Yeah, making it a little longer would help. Or more bold or a little darker. It doesn't have to be really big, though.

Maybe there could also be a circle next to the line, and when you mouse over it, it would say:

“This is the users signature.
This segment of text is present
on all of this user's posts.
Remember that all signatures
are separated from the post by a gray line.”
