Privately shared projects
Projects should have the ability to be shared only to some people. I would really appreciate it if this suggestion is considered and added to Scratch.
I really want to show my friends some project I'm working on and see how they like it so far, but I don't want to share it publicly so that everyone sees it and thinks it's bad just because it's not finished.

No, just send your friends the projects via email attachment.
I have a Steam account. If you have one too, feel free to add me to your friends list.
Also check out my YouTube channel if you like the outdoors, Minecraft, cars, roller coasters, etc.

You can also check DRAFT to signal the project is in progress. Lots of people do this. They don't have problems, since they tell everyone it's not done.
@jloung20: If you really want to share a project privately, use google drive/sites or the such.

All have the latest version of Flash.

I support.
No I don't make projects anymore. I left some time ago.
I only check the forums every now and then, but other than that consider me retired.

Scratch, Imagine, Program, Share
^I think this might prove this suggestion wrong? Not that I don't support this, I actually do. But I still think that Scratch wouldn't put this in. Also, no one really minds if it's a WIP, if you put or in the title or notes somewhere, people will know it's unfinished and won't expect too much from it.

This suggestion has been rejected before - because of the aforementioned Imagine, Program, Share motto of Scratch. It is also perfectly possible to share projects privately - just send the .sb2 file to someone else and they can load it in either the online or offline editor.
There also may be potential problems with sharing projects privately - such as private flame wars that wouldn't be found unless the moderators happened to look at the projects.
Which is another reason you may not want to use this - because the Scratch Team and any other moderators would still need access to your privately shared projects.
So no support. Sorry.

This helps – But people can just delete the script.if <not <(username) = [...]>> then
stop [all v]
else
...
end
Unless you create a Flash crashing lockdown script, like - uh - some people, so that no one can see inside and mess it up.
But I would recommend against getting your project removed.
