Hello, and welcome to the RWBY forum! If you haven't seen RWBY yet, I would recommend watching it before joining this forum, as it probably contains spoliers.



RWBY is an anime-style animated series about several characters who all have magic powers and go to a school called Beacon. The first MAIN character that we meet is Ruby Rose, leader of team RWBY at Beacon. She demonstrated her skills at a dust shop robbery, and was accepted into Beacon two years early.



She carries a giant scythe that also can be used as a rifle, and is super cool in general.
Ruby's older sister, Yang, was already attending Beacon that year and was really excited when she heard.



On Ruby's first day at beacon, she made one friend, a boy named Jaune, and one enemy, a girl named Weiss. All the first-year students at Beacon were launched into the forest and had to find the artifacts hidden at a stone temple. The first person they made eye contact with after landing was their partner for the next four years. Ruby was paired with Weiss, Yang was paired with Blake, Jaune with Pyrrha, and Ren with Nora. After completing their objective, each pair was put with another pair to form teams of four, the main teams being RWBY (Ruby, Weiss, Blake, Yang)



and JNPR (Jaune, Nora, Pyrrha, Ren).

Still kinda disappointed that Sonic Boom's premiere of all things was better than RWBY's.

I started watching RWBY a couple days ago. It's pretty cool.

I watched the Volume 3 finale.

Welp, remember the time I told you I shipped Arkos, asked how far you were, you said some chapter in V2, and Ni said I nearly told you a spoiler on TBGs chat? That was the spoiler I nearly told you. I ship Arkos because it's canon.

So I was listening to Bad Luck Charm fully for the first time, then I started thinking about Qrow and his (unfortunate) semblance, and it made me come to a sudden realisation.

It's a well-known fact that Qrow cares for his family, and so naturally, he is clearly sad about the fact that he can barely spend any time with them due to unintentionally nearly killing them every time he does, so then I suddenly realised;

What if that's the reason why he's an alcoholic?

A lot of alcoholics (or people in general) drink to escape the harsh realities of life, and with all the meaningless-at-first-glance-turns-out-to-be-some-great-secret/foreshadowing-once-you-get-further-into-the-series-es RWBY has, it'd be no surprise if that really is why Qrow drinks so much.
