But that's stupid.Because it does. But why does it need to be?This was solely for ESRB and Sega's old VGA. Nothing else. I don't see why splitting the discussion was necessary. My initial suggestion was to have a general age ratings discussion thread.
NOTHING CAN CHANGE MY MIND.
If you look closely at the PEGI thread, Computerfan is the only person to post there who would actually use PEGI.

PEGI is used to rate how friendly the online usage of a game, right? Or is it just an outside of America thing? Like… Britain's version of the ESRB?This. But it is his thread and pegi is different than ESRB.But that's stupid.Because it does. But why does it need to be?This was solely for ESRB and Sega's old VGA. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's different than ESRB.

There's a thread for PEGI. Hi, PEGI user here.
I'm gonna state my opinion, but I don't think Street Fighter games need a 12+ rating.
Hope we're all happy now.

I'm guessing 12+ in ESRB would be T, and I think Street fighter deserves that rating. While I haven't actually played any street fighter games, if something like SSBB can get a T, then SF deserves a T, as it appears the violence is a little more realistic. Hi, PEGI user here.

The same can be said about the original Smash Bros.

On CSM, the parents have rated Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 12+. They have also rated COD3 the same.

They're all idiots.
I mean, to an extent. I have no idea why MK8DX would be on the same level as COD3, but I'm sure there's a minimally decent reason.

DA HECK?!?!
I've played MK8DX a billion times and I haven't seen a single thing that's 12+. The most violent thing in MK8DX are the bombs, which are treated as cartoony.
Parents are over sensitive these days.

This. I'm not allowed to play Shadow the Hedgehog (an E10+ game, mind you) because of Shadow saying ‘d***’.On CSM, the parents have rated Mario Kart 8 Deluxe 12+. There's a game which was found in court to contain illegal images (can't get into specific detail on Scratch, but it is illegal to even possess these images) that the ESRB never revoked their rating for; if you search for it on their site, it's still rated M.
Could the ESRB's negligence be used in a court of law, I wonder? “Your honor, this game has officially been approved for sale and rated ‘Mature’ by a ratings board that parents and sensitive players regularly depend on. How was I supposed to know it contained illegal content?”
Most stores don't sell the game anymore, but it still turns up in places/online.
