I need ideas for my new project.

Well, the possibilities are endless!

You could start an animation. Have a sprite with multiple costumes, and “string them together” to create an animation! It takes lots of practice sometimes, But it's a great hobby, even though I can't animate personally x'D

There are always Coloring Contests to enter! In “What the Community is Remixing” Portion of the Scratch Homepage, If you see projects that end in CC or COloring COntest, then they are projects where your color in the lineart that they give you, and compete with other scratchers. I'm Quite fond of them myself.

There are AMVs, Animated Music Videos. FInd a song, and make a project that's a music video to the song you chose. ^^ THat's where animation takes over

GAMES! I've tried COUNTLESS times to make games, and fail every time. But Games are a great way to let out creativity.

Recently I made a skill log book showing how to jump and change colour ect… I have made an etch a sketch. I have made a track game there is loads. I prefer making games to animations but yeah here are some ideas:
Play around with codes
Games:
Track game
Platform game
Walk through animation game
Drawing-etch a sketch
Story
Points game

I have some good games which you should check out.
