Hey guys
Just wanted to say that I'll be inactive this week due to internet cable issues. We're getting workmen out to solve the problem but I'll only be active using 4G on my phone, and that's nearly out. Sorry!
60 second rule why…
Ok

They seem to know nothing about computers, and attempted to lie when I asked what they knew though.

Never was rude? Sorry, also 25 posts isn't that much. You also didn't seem to know a lot about computers (no offence)

Why won't teamviewer 11 work?

Try reinstalling TeamViewer. Also check if any firewall software (or hardware if built into router) is real-time scanning any important connection lines, such as port/line 531 and port/line 843, as if these are being scanned all the time, it will cause slowdown, and therefore a time-out, as remote desktop apps require a fast connection.
Please try the steps above, and if that doesn't work, tell me everything you have done to try and fix it. Also tell me any error messages.
It worked last night anyway.

Look. It's alright now. You don't need to bother about it right now.

Sorry I haven't been active, but I want to ALERT you about something I fell into when installing a app I've never used before.
What to do before you install new software
This is a quick/long tutorial on what to do before you install software if you've never used the creators software before or you've never used it.
VIRUS SCAN the downloaded files first.
If there is a virus, don't do it and don't continue. If not, create a system restore point to save your machine if there is a virus on it.
Run the file and install it. If a virus has loaded on your machine, do a SHUTDOWN to your machine.
Insert the Windows install disk.
Boot from it and sign in.
Select System Restore.
Choose the latest one.
It will start restoring it.
When complete, the virus should be cleaned and it is safe to boot to Windows.

Note: as System Restore doesn't restore documents/files, only programs and changes to the system, the virus may be removed, but the damage may have already done.

I need some help: Devices that are usually in the “Network” section of Explorer show up in Devices and Printers. Not all do, so how can I add a network device into Devices and Printers? Thanks.
If you want to help, please be good at computers, since this shop is open to anyone, even if they aren't good.
