Actually, Linux doesn't support the Adobe AIR framework all that well. Adobe stopped Linux support in version 26.0. The list would be on the wiki if @Turkey3 would listen to me. Even after you do that, it cites a bunch of non-existent packages that apparently aren't on your system. So it's not a good idea.

you can download things on a chromebook but if your downloading a .exe file you still will be able to download it you just won't be able to open it because chromebooks can't open .exe files to download scratch on a chromebook you have to install windows macOS or ubuntu or a 32 bit OS witch is bad

you might not be able to download scratch on a chromebook because chromeOS it self is a web broswer

Yeah, I have done so before, but I'm pretty sure this method only works on x86 chromebooks.
Install Linux
Install virtualBox
Install Windows XP on virtualbox
Download and Install scratch



You might also be able to directly install scratch on to linux, but it didn't work last time I have tried to do so.

You might also be able to directly install scratch on to linux, but it didn't work last time I have tried to do so.

It only works on Intel Chromebooks. Also, you have to do loads of messing around with Develepor Mode and Crouton to get Linux to work.

You can try downloading it on that if you want to, as it's a laptop as well.

You can also install Chrome Remote Desktop on both computers then remote-desktop into the MacBook from the Chromebook.

so install windows or macOS to install scratch from a third party but its still bad

to install scratch you have to root your chromebook and access the linux kernel on your chromebook witch sort of defeats the pupose of a chromebook

But you can still install it, so that means you can.

you won't be able to download scratch on a chromebook under default settings so to download you have to put it to root your chromebook and access the linux kernal witch sort of defeats the purpose of a chromebook
