I used to be active on the forums, but I have mostly moved past Scratch. I still do check my Scratch messages, so if you'd like to talk to me, just leave a comment on my profile. My main project on Scratch was Cookie Clicker, but my newest project is Snake Snake, a game based off of Snake, but with two snakes, and you can play either singleplayer or multiplayer.

I still dont understand why no boolean events, because there is a variable limit, and if they have like a mega multiplayer game, (it usually has many variables) there wont be room for any more of those, please explain more thuroughly.

It explains why it won't be added. Also, what does a <broadcast received> reported have to do with cloud variables?

Funny you should say that… Scratch 3.0 will work on mobile, so it is getting a mobile port. I don't get how any mobile port will automatically be a disaster though, as long as they test it (and they will) it will be fine.

I doubt that Scratch 3 would be coming out, considering that beta.scratch.mit.edu doesn't have a domain name anymore. If you were in Scratch back in the 1.4 days, then if you typed in “beta.scratch.mit.edu”, then you'd get Scratch 2 Beta rather than nothing at all. Nonetheless, I also approving giving the up-and-coming mobile port a whirl and see how awful outgoing the community becomes.

I beg to differ on the community part; adding a mobile version adds and makes the community more versatile.

Actually, this is rejected because ST wants only people who stay dedicated enough on scratch to use them, not because new scratchers are incapable. As it is, the number of people using cloud variables has caused the server to go way downhill. Allowing new scratchers to use them will only make the problem worse.

The New Scratcher status is about trust, not talent. I't purpose is to restrict access to certain easily abusable features until you've shown that you play by the rules (and are not a bot). Cloud data happens to be one of those features.
