I'm aware this is a bit of an anecdotal instance, but in the 4 or so years I've used Scratch, I've never once cared about someone else's favorite forum topics. It's not necessary, and besides, why in the first place would you need to show off or look at favorite topics?
Also I personally don't want others to look at those kind of things, that's just creepy IMO
