During the alpha testing, I loved the scratch feature of you being able to add cloud lists. Well, when it officially came out, MIT removed it, for all of you who didn't get to be alpha testers. Well, I had an idea for a game where you used points as currency. This was going to be a LONG game, so I wanted to be able to save, but with 2.0, you can not download projects. Then I thought of another factor; User ID block. This was replaced by the username block, and I'm not complaining, but then I can't set the user id to a list number. So if things like this were needed, they were no longer possible.

Now, people would try and create chat rooms. Now, I have a solution for that. Every project that used a cloud list would be sent to the admins and mods of the scratch website. If they were a chat room, they could be removed (Heck, I removed mine that was in alpha because it never worked.). Well Thanks for reading this, and I hope the scratch team puts some thought into this idea

User ID was removed because it was glitching a lot, and implementing a “username” block would be easier. You can program your own user ID system if you want, once we have cloud lists.

We will have cloud lists later because the old system was also problematic. The Scratch Team decided that the best course of action would be to start again from the ground up. However, they have to program a completely new system for that, and extensively error check. We do not have an estimated completion date yet.
