Question about linking sources

If I take a safe image / audio file from a source that also contains material inappropriate for Scratch, should I link it?

(To clarify again, the image / audio I use in the project is not inappropriate, however, the source I'm getting it from also contains inappropriate material which I am not using.)

Example:

5 minutes into a show, there's a funny sound of a person failing a tongue-twister, and I take that audio excerpt and use it in my project. The content in my project does not break the guidelines.

However, if you look back at the show, a character says an offensive word 10 minutes into the episode. If this were in the project, (Which it is not) it would break the guidelines.

Should I link the source material or not?

Just give credit to whoever made the content, don't link it, and tell users to excersize caution if they view the person's content.

jromagnoli is right. A link to an inappropriate website means that, if discovered, will result in the project being reported and probably removed from Scratch. I'd just stay on the safe side if I were you…

Hi, and Welcome to my signature! It doesn't change that often, but, hey, might be intresting to read; you never know (or at least not until you read it.) If you've got this far, it's pretty obvious that you're reading this to see just how intresting it is. Yes, you're reading this to see if there's a bonus bit at the end. You have to satisfy your natural curiosity and see how it turns out. Well, I dare you to stop…
You couldn't do it, could you? Sorry, you lost! Bye now!
