SVG uploads from external sources glitching?
It does this on all computers. Whenever I try to upload an SVG image from another page, at least one or two details are COMPLETELY WRONG!!!!! I don't know what is going on.
when this sprite clicked
set [something v] to [0]
do [PANIC!!! v]::custom
say [WHY?!?!?!]
forever
go to [Random Position v]
set size to (([sin v] of (something)) + (100)) %
change [something v] by (500)
How do I fix this? Or does scratch need an update?::sensing
end

It's because Scratch does not have all colors in SVG available for SVE

It isn't that, its just the shapes deform It's because Scratch does not have all colors in SVG available for SVEvery badly. For more information on what scratch does to them, check out this project by @The_Destiny: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/144089136/

The SVG renderer Scratch uses is missing a few features, more than just colors and effects. To be honest, I wouldn't expect it to be fixed until Scratch 3.0 is released. SVG rendering is hard and I doubt its worth the time at this point. In Scratch 3.0, your browser will do the SVG rendering, so it'll have full SVG support.

Warning: Complicated, and mind blowing.
Zeno's Paradox: I can prove you can't get anywhere. Before you get from where you are to where you wish to go, you first have to go halfway to the endpoint. From there, you go half of the remaining way. And halfway, on and on, but you can never reach your goal, because there will always be the smallest fraction of space you haven't gone through.
I can also prove you can't move. Similar to the above, I will use the same principals to prove you can't move. We already know that to get to your destination, you must first go halfway. In addition, before you get to the halfway point, you must first go halfway to the halfway point. And then before you get there, you must first go halfway. And on and on, you get smaller and smaller fractions of space you must first travel to. You can never move away from where you are.
Go here for more paradoxes!! Wow, this is a long sig. Bring the semicolon back to life! I'm a New Scratcher with 500+ posts!

Ok so for me SVG 1.1 bugs out when you try to import it to scratch. SVG 1.0 works perfectly.
Making a pure SVG renderer is hard (think about how adobe illustrator works; its all vector with 256 colors, full modifications on gradient) but just having the basic svg works for me
