Is there an approval workflow for new translations?

I didn't see any mention of the approval workflow for new translations.

I don't think the language I am translating has a reviewer.

Do I need to enrol a reviewer?

Yes, you do need a reviewer for your locale. If there aren't any active reviewers around, ask the Scratch team for reviewer powers.

Also, make sure that you download your translation work just in case, because there will be a transition from Pootle to Transifex soon, and non-reviewed translations might not make it.

Is the workflow/requirements for review explained somewhere?

Looks like they completed the transition to Transifex without posting to the forum. Instructions are on the wiki:

That's all I know, I need to go over there and sign up now.
