Why scratch should be 3d
To make it simple….. this suggestion has been rejected. Scratch is mainly targeted for kids ages 8-16 and shouldn't be so hard for beginners. The Scratch Team has rejected this suggestion - suggesting it again and again will not help as the suggestion has been rejected.

Why scratch should be 3d
So um, what if I already knew everything about Scratch and 3D programming, but I couldn't use 3D because I was a new scratcher? It really wouldn't be fair. here are some problems why scratch should'nt be 3d
1.difficulty for beginners
solution
you have to be on scratch for at least 2 months before you can use 3d
And just because there are solutions to the listed problems, there are other problems that make it hard, such as Flash being hard to use to make 3D.
And finally, Scratch 3D basically already exists.

Why scratch should be 3d
You can't press a button and make everything faster. Before you ask, no, we can't make it faster, and no asking won't make it faster either.
3D rotation is a crazy problem too. You can't turn around in 3d space without first considering the axis of rotation. There's three to switch between to go anywhere. That's a minimum of six blocks to turn in any direction, of course omitting gimbal lock (think: your sprite can only turn in one direction and can get stuck) Only including just orthogonal directions, the {point in direction (90 v)} block needs twenty four different choices (six ways*four facings). Z-fighting is an even worse problem, of course not mentioning lag. There's a reason Half-Life isn't a browser game. Designing in 3d is too hard anyway. I don't want the scratch stage to look like this (seriously, this is the simplest way to build 3d constructs and how it's done in a lot of games today)

You've been on Scratch for two months, so this should be simple to you right???????????????????
Flash 3d support is a joke and with Pixelbender gone it's even more so.
TL;DR NO and STOP ASKING

Why scratch should be 3d
The ST has enough to work on before even thinking about making Scratch 3D. I mean at this rate, they'll probably won't have cloud lists until May and the HTML player until next January, so it's not going to be implemented anytime soon.
Also, some technical difficulties would need to be worked out. Like how do you make a 3D paint editor? Or how do deal with lag (as Scratch is already quite laggy)?
EDIT: And comparing it to Minecraft PE isn't quite accurate. What you're asking for is something to make 3D games, not a single 3D game.

Why scratch should be 3d
read post above If it's in the READ THIS BEFORE SUGGESTING ANYTHING post, it's not gonna happen. If you really want to use 3D, then use Alice.
3D also isn't that great in Flash. Unless the team switch over to something else (eg. Unity, Silverlight, possibly HTML5), then it isn't possible.
Even when the HTML5 version comes out, there still won't be any point for 3D because there are already engines that have been created by various users.
Speaking of Unity, I can acually imagine what Scratch would be like if it was made in Unity.

Why scratch should be 3d
Umm, no offense, but when you say that you already know how to program 3d I have a feeling you're lying. If you did, (like progidyzeta and r2dav2) you wouldn't be whining and begging for it, but rather just programming it yourself.
Scratch 3d has been rejected in the forum “READ THIS BEFORE POSTING ANYTHING” and will never be a thing, so please stop asking.
It pains me every time I read your posts. You don't negotiate or defend your point at all. You just deny things by blurting out “No” and “No it's not!!!”
Scratch will not be 3d. Also, from a different post, some hackers are good. If you deny that I'd be a criminal.
So, please stop writing like this and sit down, relax, do the research, and maybe good will come out of it.
Maybe.

“Hacking” is technically coding, “cracking” is what's illegal. Some places even host Hack Weeks or the like.
But no, it will not and never be. I don't feel like I need to repeat the posts above
EDIT: Have you ever seen a truly 3D internet game played via browser? Besides Minecraft Classic, I haven't.

RuneScape? EDIT: Have you ever seen a truly 3D internet game played via browser? Besides Minecraft Classic, I haven't.
That runs in Java and HTML5, and it's 3D.

Well, 9 years of development between v2 and v3
But still, 2 examples. Compared to thousands of online flash 2D games.

Why scratch should be 3d
Two things: 1.difficulty for beginners
solution
you have to be on scratch for at least 2 months before you can use 3d
a) You probably don't get the concept of it being “too difficult for beginners.” 3D editing is, like, really really REALLY complex. To prove it, download Blender and try and figure out how to use it. Don't worry– it's free software, and open-source, so it should be safe. So go ahead! Download it! Install it! Open it! Work with it! Resist the urge to punch your computer screen! Seriously, I'm not kidding. Scratch would be no less difficult to work with. And if you're advanced enough to use a 3D editor, you should be able to make a 3D rendering engine yourself. It really isn't that difficult. Stop! Don't throw away that program yet! You might want to use it when you're a little bit older and can understand reeeeeeeeeeeally advanced software, etc.
b) Even if you were a very advanced Scratcher and could use this 3D editor, then what if you have a newly registered test account and you want to make a 3D project on it? Or what if you decide to create an entirely new account altogether? Maybe you're a completely new Scratcher who is a pro at all types of 3D software, and are jealous of the people who get to use the 3D editor but have no idea whatsoever of what they are doing? When I had that New Scratcher status, I was really jealous of all the rights that the older Scratchers had but I didn't, and I complained about it (I didn't know back then that these things were to prevent spam.) Imagine what I would feel if the older Scratchers had a 3D editor and I didn't? Also, I left my account alone for 2 months after registering because I didn't know I even had it.

Sorry this is so long, I just had a lot of things to explain.
Also, programming a 3D editor would be hard and a lot of work for the Scratch Team. Why spend 3 years programming a 3D editor when Scratchers can just use the normal 2D one? It would be a lot of work and it would hold up a lot of new features, such as cloud lists. Stop trying to give the ST a hard time.

As being a pretty experienced programmer and artist, I downloaded blender about a month ago to make backgrounds for a point and click game based on a village haunted by kodamas. There's a reason the game never released.
Blender and any 3d editing software is as hard to use as singing Hannah Montana in public without getting wierd looks. (Similies!)
Seriously, actually download it and try it.
I gave up after about 15 minutes.
I made a square (which was pre-existing) with a wierd spike coming out of one side.
Impressive, huh?

You're always saying you know how 3D works. Can you provide us proof of your experience in 3D editing/programming? Something you actually made and did not remix off of others?

I agree. The best I can do is a little minigame (unshared for now) that has walls coming at you which you have to jump over. You're always saying you know how 3D works. Can you provide us proof of your experience in 3D editing/programming? Something you actually made and did not remix off of others?
The walls have no depth. XP
Or, a 3d pong game I unshared quite awhile ago, but it only used 1 point perspective and wouldn't be very useful.

This sounds cool here are things you should add
1st: Support for obj blender files maya files C4d files and 3dmax files
2nd it could use a program to download and make it on that!!!
