I am reading a book called the Sword of Summer by Rick Riordan. It is about a boy named Magnus Chase, who's father is a Norse God,mother died,and is homeless since her death. Then one day he learns someone is looking for him. His Uncle Randolph, a man his mother avoided and warned him about. Randolph comes to tell Magnus to return his birthright, something that was lost 2,000 years ago (no joke). As Magnus tries to outdo Randolph, he falls into his clutches. An evil giant, Surt, kills him-an takes the birthright! Magnus finds out soon after this the only way to start a new life is to die. He lands in Vallhala, a place for people who died with a weapon in their hand and to save others. This is all I have read so far, so I will keep you posted.
