Does the Search in the discussion forum actually work?

I started searching the forum for “list sprites” and got no results. Tried “list item” - 0 results. I tried keywords I could plainly see in posts in the forum (Help with Scripts), like “google” and “sounds”. 0 results.
I am using the Search link listed under “Discuss Scratch” and next to “Discussion Home.” Where am I going wrong here?
Thanks,
~Barbara

Thanks, Plasma - that does work, although it uses Google search, which I'm not fond of for searching within sites.
Still curious what the point of the internal search engine is and/or what its algorithm is.

Yup, I realize it's only searching on this site. I mean I don't like that search style and results output for specific sites.

But that's neither here nor there - I was just wondering if the search that appears in the discussion forum and has a bunch of advanced settings available actually works, or if it's a dud.

For what it's worth, the discuss search feature didn't work for me either. It might be broken, or it might be because we are ‘new to Scratch’.

It wasn't a Google search before, but they had to switch over to Google to reduce server load.
