I made the sprite move left and right. How do you get the sprite to jump and land on a platform?

You could use Y velocity variables to create realistic jumping.

when green flag clicked
forever
set [Y velocity] to ((Y velocity) * (0.9))
change y by (Y velocity)
if <<touching [Ground] ?> and <key [up arrow] pressed?>> then
set [Y velocity] to [13]
end
end
