#1 Go indoors! Your home is probably the safest place for you to be during a storm. Stay away form windows and don't us the phone.
#2 Get out of the water! Never swim or take a bath during a thunderstorm. Water carries electricity!
#3 If you cant get indoors before a storm hits, stay away from meta fences, pipes, and wires. They can carry electricity form lightning. Also, never ride your bike during a thunderstorm.
#4 If you're in a car, don't get out. A car is good protection from rain and lightning.
#5 Don't take shelter under a tree. Lightning usually strikes the tallest things around.

I'm sorry, I just have a whole backstory for my OCs, who are physical manifestations of darkness and light (respectively), and the darkness turns out to be the ‘good’ one. Plus, I'm a contradictory sort of person and hate going with the flow.

I used to be a weather channel nut.
I was freaked out by storms, thinking every single one would spawn a tornado.
Now the opposite is true, I love storms but I can't stand the weather channel.
