That isn't blockspam. It's relevant to the topic: it shows the supporters. You can use blocks at any time if relevant to the topic. Showing the supporters IS relevant and there is nothing wrong with using blocks instead of text. Blockspam would be if I did this:

say [FOLLOW ME!] for (2) secs

You don't seem to understand what blockspam is. Anyway, support, nice idea.

Actually, no, that is not what I'm thinking. No support. I see no point in grouping my scripts. Just use the clean up function, and if you want to name your scripts just use the add comment feature on the top block of the target script.

This is an amazing idea. Really, I'm one of those people that like being all nice and organized. And yes, while Clean Up can work, it can STILL cause things to look a bit messy.

Organization on Scratch has always been a big issue to me, in the editor at least. This would make creating projects way easier.

that thread is for code specificly, this one is for grouping entire areas and functions, not just one script, so they are diffrent enough that i think they can stay seperate

Support, this would make it easier to do maps & more complex animation memes

Wow what an awesome idea, I love it! I really feel that this would help increase project organisation, and encourage better programming habits.

It would make projects easier for others to read, as well as making them more maintainable for the original creator.

Yes I did. My suggestion was different though, I suggested that there be a block for dividing scripts. This suggestion proposes a script-encompassing “box.”

Funny nobody's mentioned this – y'know how when you drag a script, you can drop it on top of a sprite tile to copy that script into the sprite? I think it'd make sense if you could do that with script groups too! That way it's a lot easier to copy over several scripts at once.

(Edit: Necropost, apparently; it was on the front page, but since somebody's post here was deleted, mine's the first reply in a couple years. Oh well, this is constructive feedback on a suggestion, so! :P)
