New features for lists in forum posts (that contains a request to the Scratch Team for when editing or deleting posts)
With the how the current list engine works, I don't think this is possible - basically, it uses HTML lists, which I don't think support decimal numberings (at least, not more than one digit - it appears that it is possible to use a single decimal digit using some special CSS).

An option of one decimal digit is better than no option at all!

Not sure what you're suggesting. No support until you explain it a bit more clearly. There's a button, when you type on the forums, right after the big small one, and before the quote and emoji buttons. If you click it you can start a list. It asks you what number to start at. The OP is asking for the option of decimals. It does not allow decimals. Comprendo?

If it's an option and if people who chose to stick with BB code don't have there experience worsened than support. No, I think that that should be an option.I couldn't understand what you where trying to suggest because of the way you wrote the post. If you want to have all Scratch posts look like that then no support. Also it's not a Constitution, it's a post made by a user. Not sure what you're suggesting. No support until you explain it a bit more clearly. Please read suggestions one and two of the Constitution! My least favorite thing on these forums is when someone violates multiple suggestions in one post/comment!
Also, most of the post is in the format that I'm proposing. How is it not obvious?

I'm thinking that if this goes on like this, than Sigton's list of recommendations won't be the only thread that needs to be closed so people can cool down.Thats what I saidThey won't have to do it differently; it'll just be an option.Sure. but maybe some people like the fourms the way they areI think that people New to Scratch are perfectly capable of learning. If it's an option and if people who chose to stick with BB code don't have there experience worsened than support. No, I think that that should be an option.I couldn't understand what you where trying to suggest because of the way you wrote the post. Ok. I get what your saying now thanks to Lataliat post. I feel like doing a complete overhaul of the fourms code just to add decimals is a bit much.I'm thinking that if this goes on like this, than Sigton's list of recommendations won't be the only thread that needs to be closed so people can cool down.Thats what I saidThey won't have to do it differently; it'll just be an option.Sure. but maybe some people like the fourms the way they areI think that people New to Scratch are perfectly capable of learning. If it's an option and if people who chose to stick with BB code don't have there experience worsened than support. No, I think that that should be an option.I couldn't understand what you where trying to suggest because of the way you wrote the post. No support until you explain it a bit more clearly. That's like saying Scratch is horrible because you don't understand it.
Honestly, go dump your hate some where else.

Well, you could do other things to indicate a new entry was added between two. You could bold it, or italicize it, too.Exactly. There is no point in even adding decimal points to a list; if you're that desperate use ‘1a’,'1b', et cetera.
ie
- Click on the sprite.
- you forgot this entry
- Click on “upload costumes.”
- you forgot this entry
- Double-click the icon.

I'm glad that you get it now. Also, I don't think that this would result in a forum code overhaul. For one thing, it only affects list code. Also, it seems relatively easy, straight-forwards, and could incorporate already-existing code.Ok. How so? You literally dropped any support because you didn't understand? In my book, it looks and sounds like you're hating. It's not and hate is bit strong for this case don't you think. No support until you explain it a bit more clearly. That's like saying Scratch is horrible because you don't understand it.

You could've been:
1. More constructive about it and just asked to explain
2. Instead of No Supporting at every suggestion actually considering alternatives

First of all I did ask to explain and now I understand it. I don't no support every suggestion. If it makes you feel better I do think that overhauling the forums just to add decimals is a bit much but since I don't have any issues with decimals semi-support.How so?
