How Do You Create An Animated Profile Picture? (PLEASE HELP!)

Hey guys, @AnimalAnimating here, and I was thinking you guys could help me out with a question I've had for a while now! You see, I was scrolling through the explore section and I found all different sorts of animators with all different sorts of profile pictures! But what really caught my eye was the ANIMATED ones… you know, the gifs! And I had thought instantly: I want THAT for my profile! But I'm obviously not talking about the ones that are pre-made on google images. I'm talking about the ones you make on your own! Sure, I've LOOKED for gif-making websites, but they all require a long downloading process and I'm really cautious about that, so…How do you do it? It would be REALLY helpful if you guys could help me out soon, because I don't want to be stuck with the default picture too long! Thanks guys, and scratch on!

So there IS a website that doesn't require a bunch of downloading?

I tested it. Find an animation that you like online. Drag it onto the desktop. Go to your profile. Click on your icon in the top-left corner. Select the icon for the video in the browse window. Double-click that icon.

Yeah, but I already said I'm not referring to the ones that are pre-made. Though your response was appreciated, I was talking about a program that lets you create your own that doesn't require a long downloading process.
