Hi! Today I want to introduce to you, an idea, that could organize sprites.


Maybe there could be a new sprite added, the sprite folder. A folder that is in the sprites area, that you can drag sprites into. It would be useful for organizing sprites. for example, a folder could be used to put all the sprites that are used for the menu in it.

I think this would help, And hopefully it could happen.

I'm not sure if it would be that confusing for those new to Scratch to drag stuff into and open folders.

However, I cant think of any “sprite” folders that games tend to use. Its either sprite, or no sprite. I don't think there are any folders for sprite in a game (except for the section specifically designed for sprites, of course).

support, this would make it easier to group together certin sprites for certin functions (such as hitboxes)

I think sprite “tags” would make more sense (with an option to view sprites of only a certain tag), since sprites can then have multiple tags at once and you wouldn't have to click multiple times to get through the folders.

It would be helpful, for grouping together sprites, that are for the game menu.
Others group the body parts of a character, etc.



The possibilities would be endless.
