JavaScript, html, and css vs. Scratch

I can't really rate them, because Scratch is widespread, but worse in terms of quality. jQuery + JavaScript + CSS + HTML are narrowed down to website creation, but are better in terms of quality. I find games easier to make in Scratch, but Websites easier in HTML.

Scratch is less widespread since there are a lot less scratch games than websites.

This might be irrelevant but you can actually embed a Scratch project in HTML with an iframe like this:
<iframe allowtransparency=“true” width=“485” height=“402” src=“//scratch.mit.edu/projects/embed/110771288/?autostart=false” frameborder=“0” allowfullscreen></iframe>

They probably didn't follow the topic, so they weren't notified of my post..

It's pretty difficult to compare the four topics as they are designed for different purposes. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript work hand in hand for webpages, but Scratch is designed for much more than webpages, and Scratch is more designed to introduce newcomers to coding.

I honestly like both, but if you're more interested in text-based programming, then HTML/CSS/JS is the place to go. Please don't leave Scratch though!

Thanks for reading,
