Basically, I really like the vector editor. The bitmap editor would be preferable, but there are a few things added (i'm not sure if they were added or if they made it simpler, but they seemed to be added) that made it more difficult to do pixel art.

1) Personally, I don't like there being pixels in between each pixel (if you get what I mean). If you've ever tried doing tiny pixel art with the bitmap editor, then you'll know that what you draw is half the amount of pixels when it's actually on the viewing screen, and it kind of merges the extra ones together. Also, when you import an image, each pixel takes up a 2x2 grid of pixels, instead of just one. This makes editing imported images incredibly difficult to do. Were the extra pixels just for resizing? Because they seem to only make the image more blurry when the size is 100%.

2) Also, when selecting and moving objects about, the selection doesn't stay in line with the pixels (you have to zoom in a lot to notice) When you let go the image snaps back in line place, but it can be very misleading.

I reckon that to solve all of these problems, there should just be 480x360 editable pixels in the bitmap editor, instead of the twice that that they've decided to use. I've heard people saying that they want more resolution, but tbh, I'd prefer it if it wasn't.

An option maybe?

I'd like to report a glitch: Sometimes when I try to create a project, all the text on the blocks won't show! I can't create without it!

Uh oh - a few others have reported this too. We really want to nail it down! What OS and browser are you using? Can you give us a screenshot? Did you do anything in particular before it happened?

That's how its like on the Scratch 1.4 site.

Wow - do people know that flagging a comment on one of your projects on the old site also deletes it immediately? Now that I think about it, we never really made it clear that it only takes one flag to delete a comment if you are the project owner (doh).

Maybe you could make an announcement to let everyone know. Or when you're flagging a comment on your own project, it could also tell you that the comment will be deleted also.

What about the tutorials in the help screen in the editor? Are you planning on making them (Not you as in just you, the entire scratch team) or can users also send in ‘articles’ on them? I'd love to create some of the tutorials, as I (and I suppose most of the community here do too) know how to use most of the features that are in Scratch. And we can also hint about things that are in real programming/scripting languages such as OOP and recursion!

There is one very annoying glitch that I've found. Sometimes when a project is running and a sprite is moving (either the costume changing or the sprite itself moving) and I try to drag it in the editor, the sprite will teleport to the lower right corner of the screen. Also, I found this out by typing this, the word teleport has a red underline. You should add it to scratches dictionary.
