Scratch NEEDS a 13+ section reserved especialy for teenagers

I'm sorry, but no support. One thing I didn't like about Minecraft when I used to play it is; there is NO WORD FILTER unless the server had it…. I found a client mod that did that; but it was a pain waiting for it to update. Sorry, but no support.

scratch is a community that is friendly and I thing that would break trust in the community and make some people uncomfortable. also little kids would be wondering what happen in there and would probably be allowed in(cause some kids have to lie about there age cause most emails you have to be 14 or 13 and up) oh (never have full trust)

Actually, the idea of having different areas for different maturity levels has been discussed - the idea has merit. But it would be impossible to verify that people end up in the right place section - and dividing the community has it's own costs, so it's not something we are actively working on at the moment.

I believe I will close this is as it seems to be generating some controversy. If somebody has new arguments to add to the discussion, they can ask a moderator to open it again.
